Spicy; with chilli or hot pepper. Ask for 'acılı' to have a dish made hot.
Acı means bitter or hot; acılı means made with it. Adana kebab, ezme, lahmacun and şalgam all come in acılı versions. The opposite is 'acısız', without chilli.
