Lokanta
A restaurant serving home-style cooked dishes from trays at a counter, mostly at lunch: stews, beans, stuffed vegetables, pilav.
The lokanta is where Turks eat lunch. You point at what you want, it is plated with pilav, and you pay little. Karnıyarık, kuru fasulye and mercimek soup are the classics.
